The Traveling Soldering Station working area is made of lime, silica, and reinforcing fibers. This product is white, essentially dust-free, and contains no asbestos, mercury, or lead.
It can be used while heating your projects up to 1800° Fahrenheit, that’s 982 degrees Centigrade. Hard solder silver solder melts at about 1320 Degrees Fahrenheit.

The outer box is made of Pacific Cedar and uses furniture staples and glued construction.

It unpacks and assembles in less than 2 minutes.
It includes a Lazy Susan Soldering Grid Board and a flippable grid board for projects that don’t require a rotating platform to solder on.

Both boxes include foam pads to keep the boards and tools secure and prevent the contents from rattling against each other and getting damaged.

The Traveling Soldering Station was designed to fit in a USPS large flat-rate box that can be shipped anywhere in the US, Us Territories, and commonwealths. The rate in 2022 is about 19 to 22 dollars
Without putting it in a USPS the shipping would be close to $60.
Also available is a toolbox of similar construction that’s also designed to ship flat rate.
